Rolling Nicks Sport Foundation is a registered Trust under Government of India.
It aims to provide scholarships/support for deserving underprivileged children athletes for academic support, advanced sports training opportunities or advance team play.
RNSF- Underprivileged Prgram is the first program in India which has an independent public squash court dedicated for squash. The program was launched in 2017. This program is the brainchild of Mr Abhinav Sinha along with the support of Mr Yogesh Thube.
RNSF committed to ensure that young people reach their maximum potential as student athletes without succumbing to the financial burdens that may impede their growth as a player. Scholarship recipients are selected by a panel of community members and are awarded based upon the student athlete’s financial need, scholastic aptitude, athletic talent and athletic promise.
Recipients will also be those student athletes who values:
- Academic Achievement.
- Athletic excellence through hard work
- Embody values of sportsmanship (e.g. fairness, equality, honor, respect, teamwork) in their lives as citizens.
- Passion of their sport
Program for Kids
An innovative way of building life skills is through sports. RNSF – A Program for Destitute Kids, is a customized programme that uses Squash Sports as a platform to help children from disadvantaged backgrounds to grow into responsible and contributing members of the society.
Sports also help prevent children from engaging in anti-social behavior by navigating their energy into activities which are fun and productive.
RNSF – A Program for Destitute Kids had conducted its first regular session in December 2017 in Pune independently, engaging with about 12 children from few schools and we hope to increase number of students.

Program at Mumbai
RNSF has roped in the experts who will assist in making this program a success. The program is divided into the following stages:
Stage 1- The experts team will visit schools/NGO’s and run a talent hunt test. We are targeting to evaluate more than 300 kids and shortlist 60 kids who have never got a chance to take up sports training.
Stage 2- The shortlisted kids will be trained to go through the second test. This test will take place at club/institute.
Stage 3- 40 selected kids will be given a chance to train on regular basis.
The program will be run by RNSF and we are looking forward to raise funding for the new center in Mumbai which will help 40 kids as mentioned earlier.
The funds will cover the cost of this program:
-
- Expert/coaches cost
- Equipment cost
- Test/evaluation cost etc.

Underprivileged Program at Squash Zone, Pune
The underprivileged program at our Pune centre is running successfully and we have more kids joining the program. We have promoted this program in public schools around Thube Park and have a good response from the kids. We have three kids who have been regular since last year and have been doing really well. Extra prices were given to these kids to motivate the players.
These kids were given prizes by international player Elvin Keo along with Abhinav Sinha.
RNSF – Underprivileged Program for Kids had conducted its first regular session in December 2017 in Pune independently, engaging with about 12 children from few schools and we hope to increase the number.

Sponsors
RNSF – Squash Program for Underprivileged definitely requires some amounts as grants and funds in a very short span of time. Their major sources of financial support in the past were funds and donations made by family members and friends. Other difficulties have been the lack of funds and donations which limits the team of Underprivileged Program for providing kids to access to Court Room, Sports Gear/Accessories, Diet & Nutrition and Trainer and this also impacts their intentions of expanding their much appreciated work to a greater level.
We are planning to work with few schools in Mumbai & Pune to engage with 60+ children. The programme has been greatly appreciated by few schools and there has been a positive feedback throughout, especially in terms of growth in class participation and academic interest of the children of the Partner Organizations of Underprivileged Program for Kids
